How to add deposit payment to invoices

Deposit request indicates your client to pay a sum of your invoice advance. This helps you to get started and indicates your client is interested in your service.

PLEASE NOTE: Deposit request are enabled for invoices, not for estimates or quotes. The feature isn't available after you add a payment.

Deposit request appears as a notice on your invoice:

MOBILE APP

  • Create or edit an invoice

  • Scroll down to Deposit Request to turn it ON

  • A new screen appears. You can add
    - deposit type: Percentage or Flat amount
    - sum in % or in you currency
    - Due date

  • Save the request

  • Now the deposit notice appears on your invoice

WEBSITE

  • Create or edit an invoice

  • Look for Add deposit request under the Total field

  • A window appears. You can add
    - deposit type: Percentage or Flat amount
    - sum in % or in you currency
    - Due date

  • Save the request

  • Now the deposit notice appears on your invoice

Delete a deposit request

Edit the invoice with the deposit request. Scroll down where it says Deposit request > , you will see the actual deposit amount there. Click on it. A new window appears. Click on Cancel this request.
