- Go to Documents - Pro forma invoices
- Click New pro forma invoice
- Select a client or create a new one
- Add items - you can display VAT per line item even though it does not appear in the total
- Fill in the date, currency, language, and any other details needed
- Click Save

What you can do with a pro-forma invoice

Show a Pay Now button for online payments if Stripe is connected

Convert it into a final invoice or a delivery note using the Create button

- Add full or partial payments

Note: A pro-forma invoice is not a tax document - no tax appears in the total. If you need a tax document, convert the pro-forma into an invoice.
