Before you upgrade
Always upgrade through the same platform where you originally purchased your subscription - Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or the Billdu website.
Upgrading through a different platform may result in being charged twice.
Not sure where you bought your subscription? Check your current active subscription in Settings - Subscription to confirm the source.
iOS - Apple App Store
Open the Billdu app on your iPhone or iPad
Navigate to the subscription or upgrade screen
Select the plan you want to upgrade to and confirm
How billing works on iOS:
Apple charges you the full price of the new subscription
Apple then issues a refund for the unused portion of your previous subscription
The refund amount depends on how much time was remaining on your old plan
Example: You bought an annual Lite plan in January and upgrade to Standard in June. Apple charges you for the Standard and refunds 6 months of the unused Lite plan.
Note: If your Apple subscription was purchased before February 2019, contact Billdu support before upgrading - we can help make sure you're not charged the full amount.
Android - Google Play Store
Open the Billdu app on your Android device
Navigate to the subscription or upgrade screen
Select the plan you want to upgrade to and confirm
How billing works on Android:
Google calculates the prorated value of your remaining subscription period
It converts that value into time on the new plan and activates it accordingly
After that period ends, the new plan renews at the full annual price
Example: You bought an annual Lite plan in January and upgrade to Standard in June. Google calculates the remaining 6 months of Lite, converts it to equivalent Standard time (approximately 2.5 months), and activates Standard for that period. After 2.5 months, your Standard plan renews annually at full price.

Go to Settings - Subscription
Click Upgrade
Billdu shows you exactly how much you'll be charged - this is the price difference between your current plan and the new one
Confirm the upgrade
Note: Your subscription renews automatically. From the next billing cycle onwards, you'll be charged the full price of the new plan.
