When a client pays an invoice using an online payment method enabled in your Billdu app, Stripe processes the payment and transfers the funds to your Stripe account. The timing depends on the method your client used.
Instant Payment Methods
These payment methods confirm and initiate processing immediately. Invoices are marked as paid right away, and funds begin moving to your Stripe account without delay.

Delayed Payment Methods
These methods go through a clearing process that takes 1–4 business days. Stripe confirms the payment once the funds are received, and the invoice is then marked as paid. Until the payment is confirmed by Stripe, the Billdu app will show the invoice status as “Processing Payment.” No action is needed — the status will update automatically once the funds arrive.

**Certain payment methods—such as TWINT, iDEAL, SEPA, or ACH Transfer—require additional verification by Stripe. You’ll be notified and guided through the process directly by Stripe.
Notes
Payout time refers to when the payment is confirmed and begins processing.
Your actual bank payout from Stripe may take additional time depending on your payout schedule and bank processing times.
Ensure your Stripe account is fully verified to avoid delays.
For bank transfers, make sure the client uses the correct reference number provided in the invoice.
