As a default setting, Billdu sends emails as a message with a link to your invoice from our own email server. It will be delivered from an email address mailer@billdu.com.

You can set up your own email or send it as a PDF, however the settings for iOS and Android mobile apps as for our website differ.

You can pre-define your mail texts and subjects at Settings - Client communication

Set up different texts for your invoices or estimates, thank-you messages or reminders. You can use several tags (CLIENT_NAME, TOTAL) in your text as well.

Note: If you are a teammember with an Employee role, you can't access the Inbox and invoices are sent as PDF files

MOBILE APP

  • In the main menu tap on Documents and on Invoices

  • Select and tap on the desired invoice you want to send

  • Click on the Send button

  • If necessary enter the recipient and text. You can add more email addresses separated by a comma

  • The text and subject are added automatically. You can change it (with an email copy) under Settings - Client communication

  • You can also attach files (take a picture, choose from photos or from files)

  • Click on Send

  • You'll find the sent invoice in your Inbox

Note: You can send invoices as PDF files from your own email address by selecting "Send with iOS mail" or "Send with mail app" under Settings - Client communication. Take a look here to learn more.

WEBSITE

  • In the Documents section click on Invoices

  • A list of all invoices appears

  • Click on the envelope icon next to an invoice you want to send

  • A window Send by email appears

  • If necessary, enter the recipient and the text. You can add more email addresses separated by a comma

  • Add attachments if necessary

  • Click Send

  • If successful the message “The email message has been sent” appears

  • You'll find the sent message in your Inbox
