Subscription isn't active - how to fix it

This article covers the most common reasons why your Billdu subscription may appear inactive and how to resolve each one.

You're logged into the wrong account

A subscription is tied to one specific account email address.

  • Make sure you're logged in with the same email address you used when purchasing

  • You can check your email address under Settings - My team

The subscription was purchased for a different business

Each business in Billdu requires its own subscription.

  • Switch between your businesses under Settings - My businesses

  • Check that the active subscription is assigned to the correct business

The payment wasn't processed

Your bank or payment provider may have declined the transaction.

  • Check your bank account or card statement to confirm the payment went through

  • If the payment failed, go to Settings - Subscription and purchase again

You've reached your client limit

Each plan has a maximum number of saved clients:

  • Lite - up to 10 clients

  • Standard - up to 50 clients

  • Premium - unlimited clients

If you've hit the limit, you'll need to upgrade your plan to add more clients.

The feature isn't included in your plan

Some features are only available on higher plans:

  • Estimates and delivery notes - Standard and above

  • Recurring invoices and expenses - Premium only

  • API access and Xero integration - Premium only

Check our pricing page to see what's included in each plan.

Still not working?

If none of the above applies, it's possible we weren't notified about your purchase. Contact our support team and send us one of the following as proof of payment:

  • Your Apple invoice or a screenshot of your Apple subscription

  • Your Google Play order number (starting with GPA)

  • Your bank transfer receipt (if you purchased directly through Billdu)

We'll activate your subscription right away.
