Choose and customise your invoice template

This article explains how to choose a template design and customise how your invoices look across all documents.

Choose a template

  • Go to Settings - Template design & settings

  • Select one of five templates: Stripe, Classic, Serif, Modern, or Simple

  • Each template displays different layout elements - such as where bank details, due dates, and company information appear

Customise your template

From the same Template design & settings page, you can adjust the following:

  • Colour - choose your invoice accent colour

  • Text size - change to Large in the Template adjustment section

  • Language and currency - set defaults for all new documents

  • Payment method and due date - set your preferred defaults

  • Default headline and footer note - enter text that appears on all new documents

  • Estimate settings - switch between Quote and Estimate label

  • Custom labels - rename any field or document label to match your terminology

Note: Some changes only apply to new documents created after saving. Previously created documents are not updated. Settings like Item code, Quantity and unit, Discount, Tax column, Due date, Payment method, Item price rounding, and Custom labels take immediate effect on all documents.

Customise per invoice (mobile app)

While creating or editing an invoice, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner to change the colour, template, or show/hide specific details for that individual document.
