This article explains how to send an invoice to a client via WhatsApp, SMS, or any other messaging app.

Note: Billdu does not have a dedicated WhatsApp or SMS button, but you can share invoices through any app installed on your device using the built-in sharing system.

Send as an online link (mobile app)

  • Open the invoice from Documents - Invoices

  • Tap Send, then tap Other

  • Your device's sharing menu opens and shows all apps that support sharing links

  • Select WhatsApp, Messages, or any other messaging app

  • A new message is pre-created with a default text, and the invoice link is included

  • Edit the message if needed and send

Your client receives the link and can open it in their browser to view, download, or pay the invoice.

Send as a PDF (mobile app)

  • Open the invoice from Documents - Invoices

  • Swipe up the action bar and tap Export as PDF

  • Your device's sharing menu opens

  • Select WhatsApp, Messages, or any other app that supports file sharing

  • Send the PDF file directly to your client

Note: Not all apps support sending PDF files. If an app does not appear in the sharing menu, it does not support that file type. For those cases, share the online link instead.

From the website

Copy the invoice's online link from the invoice list or preview and paste it into any messaging platform - Slack, WhatsApp Web, Messenger, or anywhere else.
