Verifactu in Billdu: activation and requirements

How to activate Verifactu in Billdu, requirements, and what you need to know before activating

Where can I activate Verifactu in Billdu?

You can activate Verifactu only in the Billdu mobile app - go to Settings → Verifactu → Activate Verifactu to enable it. It can't be activated on the web. On the web, you can only see whether Verifactu is activated.

Do I need a paid subscription to activate Verifactu?

Yes. To activate Verifactu you need an active paid plan: Lite, Standard or Premium. Trial and Free accounts can't activate Verifactu.

Can I disable Verifactu after enabling it?

No. Once you start using Verifactu in Billdu, it's a permanent setup for your company - you can't switch it off later. It's not possible to "just try it once" and then revert back.

Important information before activating Verifactu

Once you activate Verifactu, you commit to AEAT to send tax reports for every invoice you generate from the start date onward. If you decide to stop using Billdu after activating Verifactu, you will need to have another Verifactu SIF or use the tool provided by AEAT.

Why do I need extended validation for supplier and client details?

Verifactu requires stricter invoice data quality because invoice data is prepared for official reporting to AEAT. That's why Billdu applies extended validation for both:

  • Supplier (your company) details in your Business Profile

  • Client details on invoices (for example, required identifiers)

If key identification fields are missing or incorrectly formatted, the report can be rejected - and you'll see an error in the app.

Billdu provides an official Responsible Declaration (Declaracion Responsable) confirming that Billdu (version 26.1.10) complies with the legal and technical requirements for VERI*FACTU invoicing systems under Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024.
