Set your default currency and language
Both currency and language are set in the same place - Settings - Template design & settings.
Mobile app
Open Settings
Select Template design & settings
Under Predefined invoice settings, find the Currency and Language fields
Select your preferred currency and language
Save your changes
Website
Go to Settings - Template design & settings
Under Predefined invoice settings, find the Currency and Language fields
Select your preferred currency and language
Save your changes
Change language on a single document
You can override the default language on any individual document without changing your global settings:
While editing a document, select Details (mobile app) or More options (website)
Choose a language from the drop-down menu
Change the app language
The app language (menus, buttons, navigation) is set separately from the document language.
Mobile app - iOS
Open Settings on your iPhone
Find and tap the Billdu app
Tap Preferred language and select your language
Mobile app - Android
Open Settings on your Android device
Go to System and update your language preferences
Website
Click on your business name in the upper right corner
Click the arrow next to it
Select Language and choose your preferred option
Change the date format
The date format shown on documents follows your regional settings.
Mobile app - iOS
Go to Settings - General - Language & Region - Region on your device
Mobile app - Android
Go to Settings - System on your device and update your regional settings
Website
Go to Settings - Template design & settings - Local settings
Change the Regional settings to update your date and number format
Note: To change the date format on documents you send via Billdu, you must update the Local Settings on the website - not in the app.
Supported document languages
Billdu supports the following languages for documents:
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, Arabic, Romanian, Croatian, Russian
Note: Some pre-set texts (email templates, reminders, expense categories) are based on your location or device settings at the time of registration. These can be changed later in Settings and are not affected by the app language.
